Charges:
Violation of a Court Order - No Complaint Filed, Case Dismissed
Summary:
After being released from jail in January, I had nowhere to go, so I returned to the house where I had been living in order to save money before moving into a place of my own. Although my former roommate had an active protection order against me, he agreed to let me stay there temporarily.
On March 30th, Brian (my former roommate) and I were on our way to the grocery store to get something for dinner. We exited through the back door and walked toward the front of the house. Waiting in the front yard were two police officers who immediately handcuffed me, saying I was in violation of a court order. Brian told them it was okay that I was staying there, but they said it wasn’t his decision to make—the court order was what mattered.
They placed me in their vehicle and transported me to the county jail. I spent one night in custody and was released the next day. No attorney was appointed to me, and no formal complaint was filed. After my release, I didn’t return to my former residence but stayed with a friend until I was able to secure a place of my own.
Notes:
- The case from July 2021 was still pending at this time. I would have thought this would have settled that matter, but it did not.
- I was then and still am a victim of voice to skull torture, causing bodily harm, extreme exhaustion and anxiety.
